Overview

Playke (“we”, “Company”) complies with applicable privacy laws. This policy explains what personal data we collect in connection with the Mind Planet app (“Service”), how we use it, how long we retain it, and how we protect it.

1. Medical Disclaimer (Important)

The Service is NOT a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses, clinical advice, or treatment. All insights, analysis, and feedback provided by the Service, including AI-generated content, are for personal wellness and self-reflection purposes only. Users should always consult a physician or qualified health professional for medical concerns.

2. Data We Collect & How

  • Required data: None (no collection for basic use).

  • Optional data (for paid subscriptions & sync): Anonymous ID (Firebase UID), randomly issued short codes for data synchronization.

  • User-Generated Content: Text entered by the user (e.g., emotion logs, notes) for AI-powered analysis.

  • Automatically collected: Device info, OS version, app version (collected for log analytics).

  • Note on Storage: User-entered data is stored locally by default. For paid subscribers, records are encrypted and stored on our servers for backup. When using AI features, text data is transmitted to third-party AI processors.

3. Purposes of Use

  • Provide app features (anonymous auth, subscription management, sync).

  • AI-Powered Analysis: Providing personalized emotional insights and feedback.

  • Operations, issue analysis, and service improvement statistics.

  • Retention and responses required by law.

4. Sharing with Third-party AI Service Providers

To provide AI analysis, we share the minimum necessary data with the following providers:

  • Providers: OpenAI (API), Google (Gemini API).

  • Data Shared: User-entered text (logs/notes) only. No personal identifiers (names, emails, or short codes) are shared.

  • Policy: Data is processed in real-time and is NOT used to train AI models.

5. Other Service Providers

  • Vendor: Google Firebase

  • Purpose: Anonymous authentication and analytics.

  • Retention: Until the end of the contract or service.

6. Retention Periods

  • Anonymous Auth Info & Short Codes: Retained during use; deleted after 1 year of inactivity.

  • App Usage Logs: Retained up to 6 months, then deleted automatically.

  • Emotion/Record Data: Stored locally by default. Server-synced data for paid users is retained permanently until a deletion request is made to ensure seamless service.

7. Your Rights & How to Exercise

  • You may request deletion of personal data synchronized to the server.

  • Submit requests via the in-app “Help Center” or email us at melo@playke.app.

8. Safeguards

  • Data minimization and encrypted storage.

  • Access controls and access logs.

  • Server protection with antivirus and security tools.

  • Local data auto-deletion options.

This policy may change. We will provide prior notice in the app or via notifications when updated.
