Overview

Playke (“we”, “Company”) complies with applicable privacy laws. This policy explains what personal data we collect in connection with the Melo app (“Service”), how we use it, how long we retain it, and how we protect it.

1. Data We Collect & How

• Required data: None (no collection for basic use)

• Optional data (for paid subscriptions): Anonymous ID (Firebase UID)

• Automatically collected: device info, OS version, app version (collected at app launch for log analytics)

* By default, user-entered data (e.g., emotion logs, notes) is stored only on the device. We do not store or view it on our servers. However, for paid subscribers, some records may be encrypted and stored on our servers.

2. Purposes of Use

  • Provide app features (anonymous auth, subscription management, sync)
  • Operations, issue analysis, and service improvement statistics
  • Retention and responses required by law

3. Retention Periods

  • Anonymous auth info: retained during subscription; deleted within 30 days after cancellation
  • App usage logs: retained up to 6 months, then deleted automatically
  • Emotion/record data: stored locally by default; if stored on servers, deleted within 30 days after subscription cancellation

4. Sharing with Third Parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties, except:

  • When required by law or lawful requests from authorities
  • When you have given prior consent

5. Processing by Service Providers

  • Vendor: Google Firebase
  • Purpose: Anonymous authentication and analytics
  • Retention: Until the end of the contract or end of service

6. Your Rights & How to Exercise

  1. You may request deletion of personal data synchronized to the server.
  2. Submit requests via the in-app “Help Center” or email us at melo@playke.app.
  3. We will process your request promptly in accordance with applicable laws.
